Biddeford is a proud community that has seen some tremendous changes in the last several years. Some of them include the revitalization of the Mill Buildings, new businesses bringing life back to Main Street and environmental improvements throughout the City. Since 1929, Waterhouse Field has held significant value in our community through the years hosting many community events, including sports, graduation, La Kermesse, car shows and so much more. Throughout the years, parents and volunteers have provided funding and in-kind donations to assist in various repairs needed; however, it continues to be in desperate need of repair in which a major renovation is now critical. The renovation will allow for a modernized facility to meet the needs of our community, including physical education opportunities, an expanded turf field for increased utilization for more sports and improved access with the ability to host State and Regional competitions, new bleachers for safety and energy efficient lighting as well as a new scoreboard.
We invite you to join us in changing the landscape of pride in Biddeford and encouraging healthy behaviors in youth through purchasing an engraved paver to be placed at the entrance of the field. You can honor or memorialize a loved one, your family or your business and your message will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people a year while you also support a vital community asset.
