The Biddeford School Department serves 2,307 students and employs more than 527 teachers, educational technicians, and ancillary staff. Biddeford Schools publicly commit to an annual cycle of growth and achievement.  For the past several years the school department’s growth on standardized assessments exceeded the state average.  Bright spots include performance on the SAT (grade 11), the state Science assessment (grades 5 and 8), and young elementary math.
