SBSI Donates $50K to Waterhouse Field Renovation

On September 11, Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution (SBSI) and its Biddeford alums gathered at Waterhouse Field to present a $50,000 check to the Biddeford School Department in support of the Waterhouse Field renovations. “We are extremely grateful to Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution for their generous donation,” said Jeremy Ray, Superintendent of Schools.  “It has been such an enlightening experience to see the business community come together to support Waterhouse Field.  This is not just a field but a piece of history in Biddeford, and I know the entire community appreciates SBSI’s generosity.”

President of Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution Robert Quentin added, “A number of community members have done amazing work to get this project started. We are happy to support their efforts to restore this source of tremendous pride and history in Biddeford.”
